In this episode, Sherri and Jessie talk with Phil Alain about Amy's House. Phil's wife Amy was diagnosed with Lung cancer at 38 years old and fought with all her might. Amy was a very bubbly, social person and got to know the stories of the patients going through treatment at the Cross Cancer Institute. She learned that people traveled from quite far for treatment and had the idea of having a house available for these patients so they didn't have to travel daily while feeling sick. Unfortunately, Amy lost her battle with cancer in 2019 and her husband Phil took on the vision and created Amy's House. What an amazing impact both Amy and Phil have had on the community.
