Jessie McCracken & Sherri Beauchamp talk with Jesse Kraay, one of the founders of Edmonton's Corn Maze about how they have grown over the years, how it all started & what people can expect this year during their 20th Anniversary of operation. This season marks the 20th year for the Edmonton Corn Maze. It is ‘amazing’ to reflect on how far we’ve come since our humble beginning in 2001. Two single guys in their twenties who borrowed money from family members because the bank couldn’t be convinced; rented land, borrowed a tractor, planted a field of corn and hoped that people would come. As we approach this 20th year so much has changed. Each new season we’ve embraced the challenge of trying new ideas and continuing to grow, change, and improve. Join Legacy YEG for our family-friendly event on September 16th from 4-7 PM at the corn maze to create some memories and escape the city during this interesting time on our lives.
